Mr. President,
Thank you for the opportunity to present to the Council the latest report of the Secretary-General on the United Nations Verification Mission in Colombia and to inform you of important recent developments.
Bogota, 30 June 2021. - The most recent quarterly report by UN Secretary-General António Guterres on the UN Verification Mission in Colombia will be presented to the United Nations Security Council in New York on 13 July.

The office will cover the department of Valle del Cauca, focusing on the municipalities with the largest reintegration population and security challenges. It will also cover the departments of Caldas, Quindío, and Risaralda.
Bogotá, 26 March 2021. The United Nations Verification Mission in Colombia condemns the car bomb attack outside the Mayor's offices in Corinto, Cauca, which left dozens of people injured, including municipal officials and community members.

A group of 32 women in reintegration from various regions in the country set up the “Women’s Market for Peace Building” with support from the UN Verification Mission in Colombia and UNDP.
