UN SECURITY COUNCIL VISIT TO COLOMBIA, FEBRUARY 7-11, 2024
The United Nations Security Council will visit Colombia between 7 and 11 February 2024. It is its third visit since the signing of the Peace Agreement in 2016 between the Government of Colombia and the former FARC-EP guerrilla (the previous two visits - 2017 and 2019 - were under the last two governments).
The UN Security Council's visit expresses support and confidence in Colombia's peacebuilding efforts.
