UNMAS provides direct support and assistance to 19 countries/territories/missions including Abyei (UNISFA), Afghanistan, Central African Republic (MINUSCA), Colombia, Cyprus (UNFICYP), Democratic Republic of Congo (MONUSCO), Ethiopia, Iraq, Lebanon (UNIFIL), Libya (UNSMIL), Nigeria, Occupied Palestinian Territory, Somalia (AUSSOM & UNSOS), South Sudan (UNMISS), Sudan, Syria, Territory of Western Sahara (MINURSO), Ukraine and Yemen.
UNMAS manages a standing capacity for rapid response. In 2025, UNMAS delivered counter improvised explosive device (IED) and weapons and ammunition management (WAM) training in 11 countries for over 400 personnel.
