Closure of UNMIL

The United Nations Mission in Liberia was established in October 2003 to support for the implementation of a ceasefire agreement and peace process, and to assist with the maintenance and restoration of law and order throughout Liberia. The mission successfully completed its mandate on 30 March 2018.

They discussed the topic:&nbsp; </strong><strong>&ldquo;Intensifying efforts to fight against drug abuse in Liberia&rdquo;. </strong></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Women&rsquo;s World features women and men of Liberia, showcases their success stories and is aired on UNMIL Radio every Wednesday at 2pm, with a repeat on Sundays at the same time.</p>

UNMIL was deployed in October 2003 in accordance with Security Council Resolution 1509 to support Liberia’s transition to sustainable peace.
