26 September /2017. The UN Verification Mission in Colombia starts its mandate.

The UN Verification Mission is requested by the parties to the United Nations Security Council. The UN Verification Mission will act independently and will not be integrated into a tripartite mechanism, as was the case with the First Mission. On 14 September 2017, the Security Council adopted Resolution 2377, in which it welcomed the recommendations submitted to the Security Council on 30 August 2017. It will verify the agreement 3.2. about reincorporation of the FARC into civilian life - in the economic, social and political - according to their interests. It will verify the agreement 3.4. about security guarantees and fight against criminal organizations and conducts.
